Chianti is a Tuscan wine and only wines from this region can be properly called'Chianti'. However there are some areas that using the name on their wine labels. In the days of old, it was a basket-bottled wine and served on plaid tablecloth with a romantic candle.
It was first recognized for the first time as a type of wine in the 13th century. The grapes used are mainly for the red Chianti are Sangiovese and Canaiolo. For the white one, these are the Trebbiano and Malvasia.

The vinification has undergone controlled temperature and the aging is in oak barrels of various shapes and origins of Slavonian and French for one year or more. Then these transferred to stainless steel tanks for bottling. After bottling, they are aged in the temperature controlled cellars. |
